Lithuanian Twins Visit Aberdeen

Lithuania twins, Ieva and Emilija Serapinaite are visiting Aberdeen for 10 days. Ieva won the Youth World Championships this year and Emilija is 4th in the Youth World rankings. They coached the young swimmers at SSMPC's swimming training and they are joining in and coaching at our training day on Sunday 25th at The Log Cabin in Aberdeen. They have enjoyed a long rides in the Aberdeen area with a good canters around a fields, riding in forests and roads. They have visited the Mair's farm and ...

International Successes

In July and August we had members compete in the Youth Europeans in Russia, the Junior Worlds in Hungary, the Youth Worlds in China and the Senior Worlds in Chinese Taipei. 
Eilidh Prise started the July round of competitions by winning the Youth European championships. She started the CE in 15th place and was part of one of the most exciting finishes to a combined ever. August 2013 SSMPC News

Hopefully you have all enjoyed a busy summer full of plenty of sunshine. 

Many of you have been busy competing, not only in Pentathlon but also Triathlons, Running, Pony Club Tetrathlon and other crazy stuff like the Lairig Ghru race! 

Jamie Watson and Gavin Prise completed the Zurich Ironman in hot hot conditions. Jamie is also Scottish age group champion and runner up in the English championship.

Youth D's who competed at the Youth Pentathlon Championships in Solihull on 22/23 June. Steph Craig, Poppy Drysdale and Corry Hay took the YDG team award for SSMPC. Also in the picture is YDB Ryan Gauld and Stevie Mason who was team coach for the event.
