YB European Championships

Eilidh Prise, representing GB as one of four GB girls to compete at the YB European Championships in Poland 16th to 19th August came away with a hat-trick of gold medals. Eilidh went into the CE in the individual girls competition in 18th place after the swim. Her time of 7.31.39 in the 2k, 2 shoot CE was enough to take gold by one second. YA European Championships, Bulgaria

Jo Muir and Eilidh Prise were 2 of 4 girls to represent GB at the YA European Championships in Bulgaria 18th to 22nd July 2012. The relay was the first event where GB picked up a bronze medal. Forty five girls contested the individual competition. Eilidh Prise went into the CE in 11th position, coping well in 38 degrees heat to finish with a bronze medal and 4044 points. Olympic Games

Five GB women and three men reached the qualifying standard for the Olympic games proving that GB is one of the hardest countries in the world to represent at women's Pentathlon. Freyja Prentice had gained qualification at the European Championships in 2011. However, at the World Championships in May, the GB women were outstanding. Jamie Watson and Gavin Prise compete in an ironman Triathlon

Jamie Watson and Gavin Prise competed in an ironman distance triathlon in Nottingham, on 1 July. This was their first ironman and both finished comfortably well inside their target time. They both posted a fast time in the swim, a solid cycle and then on to the Marathon. Jamie was very strong at the run and completed the marathon in 4 hours. Gavin, dug in and came in 45 minutes behind Jamie to finish the triathlon in 12 hours 7 minutes, Jamie finished in 11 hours 20 minutes. A fantastic achie...

Youth D's who competed at the Youth Pentathlon Championships in Solihull on 22/23 June. Steph Craig, Poppy Drysdale and Corry Hay took the YDG team award for SSMPC. Also in the picture is YDB Ryan Gauld and Stevie Mason who was team coach for the event.
