Seven Selected to Represent GB

Following the Youth selection competition and ID camps, an amazing seven members of SSMPC have been selected to represent Great Britain at a Youth International in Gloucester on the 5th March. Athletes from Hungary, France, Ireland, Portugal and Great Britain will be competing.
Kate Fowlie, Jo Muir, Rachel Smith, Eilidh Prise, Callum Fletcher, Christopher Liechti and Michael Craig have been selected.

SSMPC Members compete in Youth Selection

Five SSMPC members traveled to Bath to compete in the first International Youth selection competition. They were all outstanding and put SSMPC on the map!
In the Youth A Girls competition, Kate Fowlie started with PB in her fence, equal first with 26V-18D. After a strong swim she started 2nd in the CE and maintained her position against very strong opposition. Jo Muir started in 6th going into the CE and moved up to 4th with the second fastest CE. Freyja Selected For World Cup.

Congratulations to Freyja Prentice who has been selected to compete in World Cup number 1 in Palm Springs, 24/27 Feb and World Cup number 3 in Sardinia 14/17 April. Scottish Saltires wishes her luck. More on Rankings and team selection.

Congratulations Kerry

Kerry Prise travelled to Hungary with the GB team to compete in the International Indoor Championships in Budapest on the 5th and 6th Feb 2011. An excellent CE, using laser for the first time, Kerry finished in 9th position in a strong field of 21 competitors. Results Here

Youth D's who competed at the Youth Pentathlon Championships in Solihull on 22/23 June. Steph Craig, Poppy Drysdale and Corry Hay took the YDG team award for SSMPC. Also in the picture is YDB Ryan Gauld and Stevie Mason who was team coach for the event.
