Scotland V Yorkshire Pentathlon 24/25 October 2015

October 26, 2015
Well done to all the fantastic team who competed for Scotland this weekend at the Yorkshire Pentathlon. In the regional team competition, Scotland finished 2nd behind Yorkshire and took home a lovely trophy. The team of Jessica McCulloch Abby Hay, Corrie hay, Olivia Burns, Poppy Drysdale, Daisy Foniciello and Poppy Baird all scored points in the regional competition. There were many wonderful performances including Olivia Burns winning the U15 Girls with a massive score of 6074 points. Yorkshire is the strongest region in the UK so with Olivia 1st and Poppy Drysdale 3rd in the U15's and Daisy 3rd, Abby 4th and Poppy Baird 5th in the U17's, and Corry Hay 2nd in the Triathlon the Scots gave plenty of competition to the Yorkshire competitors.
See the scores above and full results will be on the Yorkshire Pentathlon web site.
Well done to all including the parents who brought their children and were super encouraging and great fun....especially on Saturday evening!
