There is going to be an Olympic/Paralympic parade on Sunday 16 September to celebrate the athletes, volunteers and organisers from the north-east of Scotland who helped to make this year's Olympic and Paralympic games such a success.

There will be an open top bus parade going down Union Street, Aberdeen from 11am until 11.30am. The parade will start at the Castlegate, Aberdeen, at Katherine Grainger's gold post box then stop at Golden Square at Neil Fachie's gold post box at around 11.10am. After the bus leaves Union
Street, it will then travel onto Westhill arriving at around 12 noon, at Tim Baillie's gold post box on Westhill Drive.

We are trying to encourage people to gather on Union Street, Aberdeen and Westhill Drive in Westhill to cheer on the athletes, volunteers and officials involved.
If you are arriving to cheer on the parade at Union Street, please line the whole of the street.
